Why the description matters
Municipalities identify property by its registered description, not by street address. For example: Erf 123, Township X, or Portion 4 of the Farm Y No. 123-JR.

- Your municipal rates account
- Your title deed or offer to purchase
- Bond documents
- Municipal valuation roll, where published online
If you do not have it
Send us the street address and any details you have. A partial description is fine for an initial enquiry.
